Joshua Meah

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Joshua has spent a decade building partnerships across healthcare, pharma, entertainment, and technology with organizations including Salesforce, Porsche, Roc Nation, Gilead Sciences, and the US Navy. He supported commercial leadership for a medication management platform impacting over 50 million patients and 400 million prescriptions per year. He also advised the ownership of a century-old medical publisher during an integration of real patient stories into their education model. He founded SSL to prove that culture-first patient narratives can transform healthcare through meaningful engagement at scale.

Xavier “Two” Lewis

Chief Content Officer

Two is a two-time Grammy winning music executive who co-founded Take Two Entertainment with his wife, actress and singer Naturi Naughton-Lewis. Take Two Entertainment is behind the award-winning independent film Color Book and the Off-Broadway production Duke & Roya with John Legend. Two came up through A&R at So So Def, Virgin Records, and Island Def Jam, led marketing for the Atlanta Falcons, and built Owner's District Management. At SSL, he oversees content development, supports distribution, and builds community and culture internally and externally.

Stephen Framil

Chief Accessibility Officer

Dr. Stephen Framil most recently served as Chief Accessibility Officer at Merck, leading enterprise-wide digital accessibility initiatives across the pharmaceutical giant’s global footprint. His career spans over 30 years of executive leadership across health and life sciences, financial services, and information technology, with senior roles at Transamerica, Athena Global Advisors, and Think Company. Stephen also holds a Doctorate of Music from Indiana University and is the founding Executive & Music Director of Camerata Philadelphia. Stephen ensures SSL’s content and methodology meets the highest clinical, technical, and accessibility standards.

Cathy Aubel

Head of Medical Education Strategy

Cathy has held senior roles at CME Outfitters, CME Institute, Prova Education, and PRIME Education, companies that build, fund, and deliver accredited medical education to patients and clinicians. She also ran the Central MS MSL team at Teva Pharmaceuticals and has participated in and supported clinical trial programs. Cathy ensures that SSL programming drives educational outcomes that improve health outcomes.

Christine Von Raesfeld

Head of Patient Advocacy

Christine lives with multiple rare and chronic conditions and has turned that experience into a career making sure patients are heard, including as an e-patient scholar at Stanford Medicine X and a Participant Ambassador for the NIH All of Us program. She hosts People with Empathy: The Inside Track and was named to the HIMSS Future50. Christine helps integrate the patient voice and perspective into everything we do.

Richard Schwartz

Head of Patient Experience

Richard most recently led the life sciences practice at Qualtrics, where he helped pharma companies figure out what patients and doctors actually want. He built a framework he calls “Experience as a Medicine,” the idea that how care is delivered matters as much as what is delivered. Richard helps SSL capture the experience as a medicine vision in the form of insights that improve outcomes.
